Investigation into the unused doors of Chipping Campden, the Cotswolds
Chipping Campden is a beautiful Cotswolds village nestled in its north-west end. A visit here should not be without a walk around Drover’s Hill. If you start at the village expect a stiff walk up to it, but there is parking at the top. Drover’s Hill is named for Robert Drover, inventor of the Cotswolds Olimpick Games first held in 1612, so a precursor to the modern games, and involves events like hound coursing and shin-kicking, and is still going strong today. The village is famous for its architecture with its honey-coloured Cotswold stone.
