Investigation into the unused doors of Cirencester, the Cotswolds

Cirencester is an old town. It was first mentioned by Ptolemy in 150 AD, known by its Roman name Corinium. Before that is was likely a Celtic settlement called Cerin and home to the Dobunni tribe of Celts. It was the second largest city of Roman Britain and there is an atmospheric amphitheatre on the outskirts, as well as a Roman museum. It is also home to the oldest agricultural college founded in 1840, as well as the seat of the Earls of Bathurst in the wonderful Cirencester Park. It also is home to many unused doors.
